I’ve met a guy in the official eft discord and he personally bought 9 eod accounts with the same credit card on the same computer. They won’t add a competent anti cheat, so I hope they literally take tarkov over and they loose everything. Especially after the new $250 scam

I treat Star Citizen like agnosticism, but of the positive kind: I dunno if it'll ever reach the level it promises to be, but I hope and am inclined to believe it will someday. If it doesn't, oh well. If it does, great! I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, at least.

"Playable" doesn't always mean "enjoyable". I'm with SC for nearly 11 years now and therefore saw all of its "playable" iterations. Needless to say not every patch was fun to play. And actually we had some real slog at the beginning before the "PU" (persistent universe" turned into a thing. All we had, was the hangar module, Arena Commander and a social module called "Area 18". That's it. That's what Star Citizen was more or less for the first three years or so, if I remember correctly. And even after introducing the PU, it still was a friggin' long journey to what we have today, the good, the bad and the ugly patches included. We're still not there yet, not really, but SC starts to feel like a game for about a year now. Which means, "playable" slowly turns into "enjoyable". We're currently at that point where people start playing and STAY because they enjoy the game instead of just testing the current patch. There you have it.

Year one backer who played a little early on but decided to wait for final persistence to play again. I have a lot of mixed feelings about the development and funding models but ultimately I'm just happy that CIG is a private company and doesn't exist to make already wealthy executives wealthier. I'm on board with the whole thing taking longer to get a truly next-gen experience but I hope they continue to scale down release expectations so the game can go live sooner. I've managed to keep my funding pretty low at $200. Started with a base package and have traded up a couple times making sure I stay under $20 per year. And that's gonna be on my SQ42 pro-UEE character. I'm gonna have another character that starts from scratch that while not being bad is just against the UEE. I'm excited to play this game now because before I was very focused on power fantasy but D&D has brought me around to caring more about story telling and group play and I can't wait to bring that mindset to SC.

This and the fact it takes forever to get into a match every time is one of the worst things about Tarkov. All the bullshit that happens in raid is made so much worse knowing it will take at LEAST 5 minutes to get into another raid.

dorm pvp is the most boring shit

granted you prolly heard something but it's hard to tell up from down and that isn't really a spot people sit. with that in mind it's really kinda strange to run into that area like that with the whole nascar lap around the opening. Just so happens that was the best way to avoid getting shot compared to the normal way of taking that area.... idk just random thoughts i'm having while seeing this.

I don't see any other game coming close to what this could be. If it doesn't work out, it will be a shame, but if they succeed even partially it will be something to behold.
